Embargoes for the NSW State Championships weekend (Middle and Long distance) to be held on the weekend of 12th & 13th September 2026:
- Tuckland State Forest, Dunedoo
- "Brooklyn" property, Dunedoo
- Laheys Creek Road, Dunedoo
- Brooklyn Road, Dunedoo

2026 Sydney City Race, Area Embargoes
The areas listed below will be used for the 2026 Sydney City Race and are subject to the following embargoes.
Pre Race: From 27 May 2025 until the Race commences on 25th October 2026:
- no reconnoitring of, or orienteering in, the areas shown in the map below; and
- no orienteering events to be held on any of the areas.
Post Race: From the end of the race on 25th October 2026 until 12 April 2027, so as to maintain the exclusivity and special nature of the areas for the Sydney City Race:
- no orienteering events to be held on any of the areas.
The areas for the purpose of this embargo are those north of Sydney Harbour, including Milsons Point, Kirribilli, North Sydney, McMahons Point, Balls Head and Waverton.

Australian 3-Days Easter 2027 Embargoes
Several areas are currently under embargo and may not be entered by anyone intending to
compete in or attend any of the 2027 Australian 3-Days events.
This includes the area in and around Goulburn TAFE campus and the private property of
Timberlight (Oallen), and the private properties on the orienteering map known as Yuruga
(Greenwich Park) shown broadly by red outlines on the map below.
Entry onto these areas by Orienteers is not permitted, nor is the carrying and use of maps,
photography or attempts to survey the terrain.
The maps below show current public land embargoes for Easter 2027.
