WHO's annual Turkey Trot is just around the corner and this year is in the bush tracks of Cherrybrook on Sunday July 1.

The Turkey Trot is a multi-map line course race, with three distances offered: 20km, 12km and 8km. It's a mass start and there are map changes along the way.

The navigation standard is moderate, with some sections easy in urban areas. It's perfect for trail runners and adventure racers.

Non-orienteers will have little difficulty with this standard yet it is still challenging in terms of route choice for the experienced orienteer.

See the TT website for full details and to enter.

For anyone wishing to do a shorter course, there will be three options available to enter on the day, from 10am.
