We hope you had a relaxing break over Christmas and New Year. There's already lots happening around NSW and plenty of big weekends of orienteering on the horizon.

The Sydney Sprints and Central Coast's Summer Series are already underway for 2018, while SHOO's Summer Sats kick off this Saturday afternoon at Harrington Park.

Further down the track we look forward in particular to our annual highlights:

* Mar 10-11 - the O'Shea 2-Days on the Central Coast

* Mar 30-April 2 - the Easter carnival in Tasmania (entries are already open)

* Apr 21-22 - the NSW Middle and Long Championships near Armidale

* Jun 9-11 - the QB III carnival is this year in Clandulla

* Sep 1-2 - the NSW Schools championships in Sydney's Hills District

* Sep 29-Oct 7 - the Australian championships in South Australia

Add in the State League, MetrO League and all our club events and we've got the year well and truly covered.
